The Punjabi Cultural & Sports Club (PCSC) is the flagship of sports and cultural activities among the Punjabi community in Western Australia. This Perth based club is committed to spreading and maintaining our rich cultural heritage. The main objective of the club is to provide a flourishing platform for our community to interact within a multicultural society and to be proud of our culture, making the wider community aware of the contribution of Sikhs in all the major events of the world and to establish peace and prosperity. In the same token PCSC is encouraging our children to learn Punjabi, Bhangra, Gidha and participate in sports.
PCSC organises Vaisakhi games, dinner dance’s Lohri, Teeyan and other social functions as well as cultural activities. Our Bhangra group “Nachda Punjab” has been performing at many multicultural festivals for the last decade.
The Club is a stalwart supporter of the Sikh Association of Western Australia (SAWA) and plays a vital role in assisting the broadcast of the Punjabi Radio Programme (Sikh Sangeet), every Thursday. The Club is blessed to conduct kar-sewa in Gurdwara Sahib and cater for what has become an annual event, the senior’s picnic. The club relishes the support of the Punjabi community in Perth and is consistently setting higher standards of service for the community.
The club has been successfully serving as a beacon for the Punjabis and Punjabiat in Perth.
