COMMUNITY SUPPORT

PCSC have supported many community events within the last year. The Club raised five hundred dollars by selling food at the Langford Community Festival and proceeds were donated towards the 21st Sikh Games, Perth 2008. |

The Club organised a Langar at the Canning Vale Sikh Gurdwara when Kar Sewas were held. PCSC also assisted SAWA in organising kid’s games. |

The tremendous support from the Club was highly appreciated by the Sikh community, when the Club organised the meals for the day for those members of the Sangat who enjoyed a wonderful day at the Harvey Picnic. |
PROMOTION OF CULTURE AND SPORTS:
PCSC is motivated to promote the Punjabi culture in Western Australia. Innovative approach adopted by club committee and members in last few months is contributed to popularity of Punjabi culture. PCSC highly appreciate the support of SAWA and looking forward to closely work with SAWA to achieve its goals.
Our Club has two Bhangra team, we thank Mr Kulwinder Singh for putting tremendous effort for coaching kids and youngsters. Celebrating traditional Punjabi festivals and spreading the importance of these festivals in the Community is Club’s mainagenda in coming years. To promote and glorify our rich cultural and heritage is moral and social obligation for all of usand PCSC expectfull support from community to achieve this.
PCSC is committed to promote sports activities in our community and funds raised by club will be spent on sports related activities. We thank Mr Meihavan Singh who worked hard to prepare and coach two hockey teams from WA for 2008 Sikh Games. We expect the same support in future. We also thank PCSC Netball girls. PCSC is committed to provide support to all teams in future.
The main objective of the PCSC is to educate and create awareness especially among thenew generation about our rich Punjabi culture. We can only keep our culture live, if we do not forget our Punjabi Language. TRY TO SPEAK PUNJABI.
